# Volume negates luck
So very true, and repetition is a key component of mastery.
The Hormozis really beat this one into my head (luckily for me).
When I decided to turn my life around and actually commit to becoming a master of sales, I immediately started sending out >100 cold DMs per day booking sales appointments. Then I hired a VA to send them for me so I could spend all of my time closing deals.
Turns out, if you clear up your calendar from 9am to 6pm every single week day and take sales calls every 30 minutes on the dot, you absolutely can start closing deals and making real money.
The sheer amount of calls meant I didn't even have to be that good either — some of them I just stumbled into closed deals.
But over time I learned what worked and what didn't, plus I developed lots of relationships of incredible people who I was able to help win with my product/service.
Once that snowball begins, it is powerful, and then there are reviews, testimonials, referrals, etc.
The hardest part is building the initial momentum.
Luckily at that point you have time, which you can trade in order to build that momentum through epic amounts of volume.
There is always a way, I promise. It is on the other side of a lot of trying!
