# AI vs Human Writing - Indistinguishable? I've been running an experiment on you, my lovely readers, and for that I am sorry. But! In the last few days I've used ai to write some of my posts for me to see if it would be any different in terms of results. I'm not going to tell you which ones, but I will say that the stats in terms of opens and read throughs has been roughly the same. I shall continue the experiment until January and report back, but a word on some other findings. Fulfillment Simply put, using ai to autogenerate a blog post feels like cheating. I don't really think I'm learning anything by creating content in that way, and I'm certainly not sharpening the axe when it comes to improving my skills (writing, thinking, clear and concise communication, etc). It also feels weird publishing under my name. I did program the input the ai used to create the result, but I didn't do all of the work of thinking, outline, sentence structure, grammar, storytelling, etc. So it doesn't feel quite right that I should publish under a blog with my name and face on it. The Purpose The whole point of this blog, candidly, is an exercise for me to hone my skills of communication via the written word. Using ai for now feels a bit like a perversion of that effort. Yet, without embracing the new technology, I and most writers will probably be outcompeted in the long run. Some form of hybrid writing alongside the ai is probably the next step for humans who want to stay in the game. I'm not entirely sure what to do with that information, so I decided to run the experiment and see what it was like. I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter
