# Keep focusing down and cutting all else No matter what, you can always cut more things and get more focused. With every fiber of your being, it may be screaming to expand into new things and do more. That's a trap. Stay focused on your most important thing and literally kill everything else. Then check in daily to make sure you're not getting sucked back into old things or new things or any things which aren't your supreme focus. Brainwashing yourself with more of the same is a great way I've found to stay focused. Getting bored with your sales job? Listen to some podcasts about sales, read books about sales, start a podcast interviewing salespeople. Whatever it takes to stay focused and go deeper. That's the right move. The people who accomplish the most are those who get focused first and stay focused longest (mostly). Once you've found something you don't dread, double down. You'll know if it is unbearable, and if it is just find something else. But as soon as you enjoy even some part of it, go hard in the paint. It will take you to the place you should be, even if it means going so deep you find yourself somewhere you didn't expect.
