# Partnerships Working with other people is THE great hack of business. There are simply not enough hours in the day for one person to do all of the things needed to succeed in business. Even if there were, very few have every single skill required, and if you are that talented your time is probably best spent doing only the highest leverage tasks. The issue I've seen is a lack of organization and "push it forwardness" when trying to build a partnership with others. You have a great meeting, discuss all of the opportunities, then forget completely by the next day. The key is to build a simple and clear to execute action plan, focus on getting your deliverables completed and follow up with the counterparty regularly (daily), and knock it out of the park. Move with speed, be extremely specific with what everyone needs to do and when, and then relentlessly follow up to see what you can do to support them on their quest to deliver for you. Also, don't feed into the myth that you're too busy or too stressed ([[Mountains out of molehills]]). Jeff Bezos built a trillion dollar business, so you can execute a single partnership. Then build on that momentum and do another one, then another. Let your snowball pick up steam.
