# String together as many great days as possible
There are an infinite number of ways to live out your life. As I get older, it becomes more apparent there is no optimal way which can be carbon copied exactly for each person.
The closest I can think of is the philosophy of the [[7 Core Disciplines|7 core disciplines]], but that's only a framework which each individual must then take and customize to their own life.
However - this no size fits all fact about life isn't a bad thing. In fact, it's one of the most empowering things I've ever come across.
It means we each get to choose what the good life is for us. There are no rules. We have every moment to decide what we want our lives to be.
A role model of mine once shared a story about stringing together as many great days as possible, and how that was the closest thing to an approach for living he had.
Sounds pretty good to me :)
